Our world changed when Exemplar arrived. Heroes and villains began to rise up, each with their own unique powers. In the subsequent years, our society has changed to account for the new paradigm. Something has changed, and Exemplar has turned against humanity. Now it is a race against time to stop the former champion before he destroys the world.

Inspired by superpowered horror media like Irredeemable, Supergod, and Miracleman, The Hero Hack uses the Nightmare Theater system for quick character generation and easy mechanical resolution. Play as supers as the last line of defense against a god gone mad with a multitude of powers.
